"Green Tea" is the resolve to the 2005 mini-rock-opera "Toxic World". It's the scene in the story in which the son of the President of Toxic World conquers his demons and breaks his ancestral cycle of addiction.
lyrics
I drank the silt from poison streams
Sopped up toxins from the leaves
Lived and died for centuries
Then mellowed out on herbal tea
One for you ~ One for me
The flame lost its glow
but the poetry flowed like clear running stream
Got back to where I planted trees
I took in all the air they breathed
Remembered all I used to be ~ Child of the Seventies
Forgot all I knew to make room for the new
It came back to me
Found that angel of my dreams ~ Maiden of the Seventies
I lived another life again from here in all her pretty things
With wings on our chairs and our long flowing hair
We’ll see all again and we’ll hear all again
Settle down in '33 and rub the bruises we can’t see
